GLC-SX-MMD is not detecting in 4500-X

Hi !

GLC-SX-MMD module not detecting in 4500-X switch running with 3.8.6 IOS version. Not listed in "Show interface transceiver".

Same Module working fine with 3650 Switches. Has anyone come across this issue??

Hello,

according to the compatibility matrix (attached) the transceiver is supported on the 4500X. Try:

4500X(config)#service unsupported-transceiver

What happens if you shut/no shut the port?
