Hi,
I have been going through this Link http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/transceiver_modules/compatibility/matrix/OL_6981.html
for check the compatibility information for gigabit Transrecievers but i am not able to find any information regarding gigabit transreciever compatibility with SM-2GE-SFP-CU. As i go through the datasheets of SM-2GE-SFP-CU it is mentioned:-
More information on features and a list of supported SFPs is found in the EHWIC-1GE-SFP-CU Data sheet
https://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps10536/data_sheet_c78-660124.html
Shall i assume the transreciever supported by EHWIC-1GE-SFP-CU will also be supported by SM-2GE-SFP-CU .
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
The left hand port in each side of the SM-2GE-SFP-CU is Copper, the rught hand side are optical SFPs
So why would you want to fit a GLC-T.
Also you can only connect one port from each pair. IE it is 2 port card (NOT 4) so only coper or fibre in each pair.

Alex.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your update.
Actually i had a doubt whether this card have combo ports or only SFP Ports. As per datasheet of SM-2GE-SFP-CU it is not clearly mentioned about dual purpose ports as compared to EHWIC-1GE-SFP-CU where it is very much clear. Thanks for your update i can save some cost for my customer.
