This required lot of testing and need to understand end to end ? how many devices connectd between 3650 to nexus ?

is this worked any time or  never worked as expected speeds ?

what if you connect client to nexus and able to transfer as expected ? how about from destination server to device connected to 3650 ?

Please find my input,

 how many devices connectd between 3650 to nexus ?

3650 having only 1 server its connected. Nexus end 7 server is there, for that we are not seen any issues.

is this worked any time or  never worked as expected speeds ?

Its new

what if you connect client to nexus and able to transfer as expected ?

not tried

how about from destination server to device connected to 3650 ?

Server -->9k --> 6k-->3850-->3650 --> Client

Server -->9k --> 6k-->3850-->3650 --> Client

thanks for the information, if you connected any other device same switch and trasfer on Cisco 3650 ? what results you have. ?

since you mentioned nexus has 7 server never seen issue, so you need to troubleshoot - each level see where you see this limitation.

i would check on the path from server connected port to all the nexus interface config, speed and any errors ?

Not seen any issue with interface level. In between 7 servers we are able to send. But the server which is connected 3650, only having the issue.

Also 3650 having single server, hence not able to identify.

Only one difference is observed, Nexus 9k Jumbo frame configured, but 3650 having default MTU only.

Following error message receiving at backup server side,

bareos-dir JobId 163: Fatal error: Network error with FD during Backup: ERR=Connection timed out

bareos-dir JobId 163: Fatal error: Network error with FD during Backup: ERR=Connection timed out

where is this connected, what is this backup server ?

Slowness issue observed in between backup server & client. That error we received at backup server side.

What protocol are you using to send this file? Is it TFTP? or FTP? or SCP? or some other protocol?

Can you verify that there is IP connectivity between the source and the destination devices?

Are there log messages on the destination device? If so does the destination log indicate that it sees an incoming attempt to transmit the file? Is there any log message about some error with the file?

Orignal post was "Greater than 50 MB size file not able to send" - is completly not working ? less than 50MB works as expected ?

the error you posted not connecting at all ?

Looks like some config issue some wherre in the backup. i would check the backup server side config.

just googled with your error, show some config issue here to verify :

Try doing a transfer to a different server (not the same VM) but in the same subnet.

Move your computer to the 3850 and do the same (above) test.

Objective is to determine if the original target server is not configured properly or not.

Hello,

can you post the output of:

show interfaces x

where 'x' is the interface on the 3650 the server is connected to ?
