GUI Web Interface Gone

Silly question but I just updated my Cisco 891-W's wireless access point to the latest and greatest version. Now when I log onto the AP via HTTP, I get the generic screen like so..

Cisco Systems

Accessing Cisco AP801AGN-A-K9 "TTCAP02"

I can see on the flash: directory under the IOS directory ap801-k9w7-mx.152-2.JB that there is the html directory and underneath that the level/15 directories with all the files in it so I am confident that the IOS upgrade went well but how do I get the web gui back? I tried the "http path" and that did not work. I compared it to another access point and the paths are the same with the exception of the IOS directories, which is to be expected.

So I am officially stumped now and would greatly appreciate any help on the matter as this is driving me crazy.

Thanks

Charles

Have you taken backup of your OLD IOS.

Jawad

While that would have been the smart thing to do, no I did not.

Do you have access to console

Jawad

Yes. The AP is still working and I can SSH into it.

Charles

Do access AP via https

Same thing

Accessing Cisco AP801AGN-A-K9        "TTCAP02"

OK. Got it working by flashing a different version (ap801-k9w7-tar.152-2.JA1) to it and following the post at

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-13047

It looks like the version that I had on it, ap801-k9w7-tar.152-2.JB has a bug.

Thanks for the assistance.

I am struggling to find any AP801 code that is autonomous  I think W7 in the code name

there is a bug in 124-21a.JA1 that breaks PPTP

and I wonder if you have a link to 12.4(21a)Y or newer as the bug is fixed

But searching all over the support downloads I cannot find any W7 versions  (Stand alone)

only W8 which is LWAPP

thank you in advance
