HELP Cisco IE-4000 Power supply and POE

I am purchasing the IE-4000-8GT8GP Switch so i can power up to 8 POE devices. The switch has two DC power inputs that will take 12-54V DC. my question is:

Do i have to purchase one of the supported Cisco IE power supplies in order to support POE?, or can I use my own power supply? and what is the minimum DC voltage input rating I can use in order to support the use of POE?

I'm wondering the same thing.

I just got my hands on 2x IE4000 4S8P4G-E.

I am planning to use our current 24V 10A power supply.

Will I be able to use 8x PoE ports?

Or does the switch require 48V for PoE to function?
