Hi,
I'm trying to setup a trunk link between 2 3750G-16TD's using the TenGig interface.
The interfaces are configured as per any other trunk, however as soon as we cable to 2 devices up the interface immediately goes into err-disable;
Aug 14 18:54:58.501: %PM-4-ERR_DISABLE: link-flap error detected on Te1/0/1, putting Te1/0/1 in err-disable state
We have tried several different cables and configs.
Question is - is there any special config required to enable trunking using the TenGig interfaces???
Thanks in advance,
Iaqn

Hello,
The error disable is due to link issue. If the interface flaps beyond
threshold, the switch will errdisable the port. This seems purely a Physical
Layer issue. Can you please check the fiber and make sure that it is good?
Also, if you have any patch panels along the path, I would suggest bypassing
them to see if they are causing the issue.

Sometimes you have to use mode conditioning patch cables for ten gig installs .Read thru doc and see if this pertains to your installations . Normal fiber patches may not be enough.
