 - Presumably (still) related to the source usb not being recognized , have a go with this format : https://www.instructables.com/Format-USB-Flash-Drive-to-FATFAT16-not-FAT32/

Catalyst 9k will not allow copying of files to the flash while in ROMMON.

The only way to put the firmware back into the switch is:  emergency-install usbflash0:filename.bin

thank for your answer, if i finsih install and configure the switch until i can access the web gui
i try copy cat9k_lite_iosxe.17.11.01.SPA.bin from my computer to flash with web gui, stuck on 53%

and the second after i install from usbflash0, i cant access usbflash0 to copy .bin to flash

if i restart the switch, and back to ROMMON again

IF the switch is still in ROMMON, post the complete output to the following commands:

  1. dir flash:
  2. set

here :

switch: dir flash:

If the firmware is still in the USB flash drive, then do "emergency-install usbflash0:cat9k_lite_iosxe.17.11.01.SPA.bin"

here leo

switch: dir usbflash0:

Yes, it will because someone deleted the firmware files from the flash.

To fix this, copy the BIN file from the USB flash drive into the switch's flash drive and initiate the Install Mode.

i was try like that :

Switch#copy usbflash0:cat9k_lite_iosxe.17.11.01.SPA.bin flash:
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

Switch#

Eject the USB flash drive and re-insert it.  Post the complete output to the command "sh log".

leo i still cannot copy from usbflash0 to flash, any antoher option please ?
