I am faced with a situation here. I a working on an concourse extension network. A proposed solution was to have two paths to achieve redundancy. The traffic will carry data for CCTV, PAS, BHS, etc.
My question- Instead of the expenive combo of CRS-1 and CAT 7609 as the core in fully meshed architecture ( for redundancy), is there some cheaper equivalent that is designed to give same performance levels? Also to be considered is scalability option.
