Help with GBICS connecting a CBS350 to a CBS250

Just finished provisioning 1 CBS350 16XTS and 4 CBS 250 24T 4G. I get them talking to each other on a copper port but not via the SFP ports. I purchased a Cisco SFP-10G-SR for the 350 and a cisco MGBSX11G for the 250. Thinking that the CBS350 needed a 10G GBIC and the 250 needed a 1G GBIC. I also tried a Cisco SFP-10G-SR on both devices still no luck. The ports are trunk, the switch sees both GBIC's Serial numbers but not connectivity. I've tried known working fiber jumpers. This is on the bench so in the production deployment the switches are in nearby racks. What am I missing?

i may be reading wrong.

You need both the side 10GB -SR to work

or 1GB SFP to work

10GB to 1GB not going to work.

Also worth checking the compatible matrix.

I also tried a Cisco SFP-10G-SR on both devices still no luck  - I would like to see the config and I take both cisco Optics ?

what patch cable are you using OM4 ? or OS2 ?

show interface tenx/x (see is the SFP recognized)

try no speed negotiation auto see if that works
