Hello guys,

While using the NAT, the "show ip nat traslations" shows output as:

Total translations: 2 (0 static, 2 dynamic; 0 extended)

I wanted to know what does those field mean; especially the "extended"field.

Hi
Its stating there have been 2 dynamic translations in NAT on your router, the extendable is used for address translation when you have the same local internal ip address being mapped to multiple ips , you use the extendable command to allow this to happen
This link explains it well with an example
