Hi All,

Want to know about broadcast packet troubleshoot.
We are suddenly observing high broadcast packets on interfaces. Can anyone pls explain how much broadcast packets are normal on an interface (% in terms of total traffic).
Which all show commands can be used to check. Any configuration is not allowed as devices are in production.

 - The first thing to note is that broadcast traffic is usually 'user'-related and needs identifying and then in further steps it can be resolved , by tackling the acquired known-source; here is an example thread :

Hi Marce
Thanks for the rply.

We have Catalyst 9300 (TE1/1/1 where Broadcast packets are increasing) and 9500 connected to each other.
Do you know to calculate broadcast percentage ?

 - You need to more time-invest on analyzing Intranet-traffic and identify broadcast-traffic.
