Hi everyone,
I have a 3750 which is reporting high IO memory consumption (70%) through a monitoring software. In the attached files the output of a show memory allocating-process totals indicates that most of this memory is used by *Packet Data*. Does this mean that the current traffic load is requiring that amount of memory and to a certain is expected?? Currently there are no log messages displayed which indicate a memory leak or memory fragmentation condition. Does anyone know about the expected values of IO memory consumption on 3750 switches or if the value we are having is normal??
Thanks,
Roberto

And what IOS version and feature set are we talking about here?

Hi, sure, the IOS version is 12.2.44-SE6 and the feature set is IP SERVICES W/O CRYPTO. Actually it had an older version and we made an upgrade thinking that the memory consumption could be lowered.
