HOSTFLAPPING / STP Loops

How to overcome the error arising due to STP loops on a live core Cisco 4500 switch. the error says:

" 1d23h: %C4K_EBM-4-HOSTFLAPPING: Host 02:01:00:00:00:00 in vlan 1 is flapping between port Gi2/2 and port Fa4/44"

Check to see if you have a physical wire loop between those 2 ports . Also do a show cdp nei and see if the switch sees itself between those 2 ports . You could also shutdown 1 of those ports if indeed it is a loop and that would break the loop .
