how apply ratelimit comamnd on MLS 7604 on subinterface ??

hi ,

i have cisco 7604 and i have interface with many subinterface on it .

i want to limit the bw on one of the subinterfaces to 4 M upload , 4M down .

i tried the command ratelimit but it is not working  it seems the speed is opened !!

i read littile and found that we can do it by class-map

i tried it , but it is not working .

here is my config below which i used  :

Can you verify your acl is specifying the LAN traffic you want to police

FYI-
Usually you police inbound on lan traffic before its queued to go out onto the wan and shape outbound on the wan interface.

Regards your inbound policy,this will not police your wan traffic coming in over the wan link this need to be managed from the other side. What your policy will do police the traffic to4mb as it goes into your LAN via this sub interface
