%LINK-5-CHANGED: Interface FastEthernet0/1, changed state to upEste(config-if)#

Hi,
This command is quite straight forward and you’ll loose the ability to see what’s going on in the router/switch while you are configuring. You might want to know when a network interface goes up or down, neighbor relationship formation, etc. So this is the least useful method, but you do not get any messages on your console.
no logging console

When I am in switch configuration mode and typing the wrong command my console hung and when I am trying to use Ctrl +z it still taking more than 20 min time, could you please suggest me a command through which I will not get the error message and my console will not hang, as its getting hung and I am helpless at that time I am deleting the switch again and reinstall the configurations in Packet Tracer. Please see the attached screenshot for reference,

Sorry to bump this ancient post, but it comes up at the top of google and I thought it was worth mentioning that maybe the original requester would have been happy with logging synchronous.
