Hello,
I have newly configured Cisco 1841 router.
I downloaded Cisco SDM and installed on
laptop attached to that router. I created a
user which has level 15 permissions. I forgot to make the password in encrypted form. Now if an another user says sh run
, password of my user account displays in
clear text. How can i change? I tried it by logining by that specific user, then as usual i said "enable secret <password>
And i exit afterwards and saved config by
saying <wr> . But password is not encrypted still. I dont no how to change password for the specific user on 1841 router. Anybody have experience? It's urgent....I went trough Cisco's doc's. But alas. No help ! I did search too.
No results for that specific criteria.
Regard's,
Amey Abhyankar.

Hope it helps you.
Thanks,
