show run | in snmp give you information what version is configured,

snmp-server community privmes RW 99

Hello,

 

the command:

 

show snmp group

 

used to be around, if it still is, it should show the snmp version in the 'security model' listing...

groupname your herpub and privmes (version you see in red color)

 

#show snmp group
groupname: XXXXX security model:v1

groupname: YYYY security model:v2c

groupname: XXXXXXXX security model:v3 priv

You can find out what version is installed by running show run | in snmp. examine every element in great detail
