How to check the switch is in ROMmon or not

Hello All,

I have switch C2960 which was broke and not able to turn on after a power recycle, so i was asked to check whether the switch is in ROMMON or not, could someone help me how to check it. Thanks in advance

just access the device through a console .

You look at the prompt in the console screen. If the prompt is "rommon>" then it's self-explanatory.
If you have no access to console then look at the display. In ROMmon, the port lights should be off and the "SYST" LED should be blinking green.

Thanks for your response. I consoled into the switch and it's not in ROMmon, it is keep on booting. what does it mean?

If you've consoled into the appliance, post the entire boot up process. We would like to see what is going on.
