how to configure etherchannel with HSRP on a cisco router 4000 isr series and 1000 series routers

I am looking to expand my routers HSRP configuration by adding ether-channel  to the router configuration.

When configuring HSRP and ether-channel on a router is the hsrp configuration on the fiscal interface or in the ether-channel configuration. I have look and have not found any documentation on configuring HSRP with Ether-channel.

HSRP should treat Etherchannel as any other port. I.e. You should be able to configure HSRP on the port-channel interface (where the interface has an IP address).
