How to connect a Ring or Line network to a standard network

Hi all,

I've got a few tank meters on the manufacturing floor and they're designed to work in a Ring or a Line network topology. I am trying to figure out if there is a way to link a Ring or a Line network to my standard Cisco network.

Yes, each meter has two ethernet interfaces and they're designed to work in a Ring or Line topology. But for right now I've got them connected on my normal network with only interface connected. I can not use the other interface. I was testing with it the other day connecting both interfaces to my network and it looks like the device creates some kind feedback and brought down the network. What I need is put the devices in a ring or line topology and somehow link it to my normal network.
