Looking for recommendations as we have a compatibility issue with an AMD U200 40G card which is broken out to 4x SFP+ connections and then a QNA into a Cisco QSFP+ on the C9336C-FX2 switch.
We are trying to disable auto-negotiation on the Cisco switch and get following error;
=======================================================
HDCI-NSWDDNGDF01C# show int eth1/15 | i Auto-N
Auto-Negotiation is turned on FEC mode is Auto
HDCI-NSWDDNGDF01C(config-if)# no negotiate auto
ERROR: cannot turn off auto-negotiate at 10G speed
The u200 card is proprietary code and they can't enable Auto-negotiation, so we have seeing unstable L2 in the network between these devices.
Any way to disable the auto-neg on the cisco side?
Thank-You for any guidance!

Instead of no negotiation, setup the speed and check (like hardcode speed) especially nexus devices.

Hello BB,
Thanks for your quick reply! Just to clarify what you have recommended, is this what you are suggesting?
Here is the switchport config;
interface Ethernet1/15
description M::US22727I-ORTD61B_clx0p1
no cdp enable
switchport
switchport access vlan 582
spanning-tree port type edge trunk
no snmp trap link-status
speed 10000
duplex full
storm-control broadcast level 5.00
no shutdown

Additional piece of information, when this L2 event occurs the MAC address from the Server (AMD U200 Card>SFP 10G Breakout>QNA>9336 QSFP+ Switchport) the Cisco doesn't report the MAC address in the connection for that link.
No MAC Address detected on Eth1/25 even if I can see the link from the switch showing as UP.
issue is that US22727I-ORTD64B_clx1p1_(clx4) not coming up after cold boot.
Here are the MAC addresses I am seeing for all connections into 64B:
HDCI-NSWDDNGDF01C#
