Hello,

the easiest way to get rid of these messages would be to configure a logging discriminator. Either one of the two below should work:

logging discriminator MACFLAP severity drops 4 facility drops SW_MATH mnemonics drops flapping
logging buffered discriminator MACFLAP 100000
logging console discriminator MACFLAP
logging monitor discriminator MACFLAP
logging host x.x.x.x discriminator MACFLAP

or

logging discriminator MACFLAP msg-body drops flapping
logging buffered discriminator MACFLAP
logging console discriminator MACFLAP
logging monitor discriminator NACFLAP
logging host X.X.X.X discriminator MACFLAP

Hello

you could also try using:

no mac address-table notification mac-move

Also just like to add mac flaps can indeed be a result of wifi hosts roaming but if you a have consistently high number then its time to investigate your network as it may be a loop that’s the root cause.

Whats the cpu/memory utilisation of the switches ?
