Hi,
These steps can be useful:
1- Request and get an approval for the maintenance window
2- Get a backup of your configuration
3- Upload the new IOS on the switch, via USB or TFTP/FTP
4- No boot system flash:oldimage.bin (check were the image is stored and the file name through show version)
5- boot system flash:newimage.bin
6- write
7- reload
8- Compare/Verify the configuration.
The step 4 & 5 could be different for this model. The boot system is configurable through the configure terminal. Now you must check where the new and current images are stored.

Hi
1. copy from tftp server to flash.
2. next command: boot system flash:// (here write your new image).
3. if something wrong: just rewrite - boot system (to old image).
