We are trying to get access to the Web Interface. According to documentation it should be as simple as plugging in a network cable to any one of the 24 non-management ports on the front and then just launch a browser to https://192.168.1.1. We've tried both DHCP settings and manually putting the laptop in to the same subnet as what the switch is supposed to have but we can't access to https://192.168.1.1
If someone know how to get access to the Web Interface, please teach us.

if you have not made any config as mentioned :
The bootup script runs the configuration wizard, which prompts you for basic configuration input: (Would you like to enter the initial configuration dialog? [yes/no]: ). To configure Day0 settings using the Web UI, do not enter a response. Perform the following tasks instead
it should work..
reboot the switch.....connect one of the port PORT to PC also console cable to Switch..(see how it boots but do not configure anything)

Hi BB,
Thank you for your reply.
We haven't enter any response on the dialog.
(Would you like to enter the initial configuration dialog? [yes/no]: ).
And we did reboot again and again.
However, we can't access...
In my understanding, what we need is just connect the Ethernet cable between a Ethernet port on the switch and a PC.
It means that we don't need to push any button or any settings. Is it correct?

Enable the web interface and set it to use the local user database for authentication
switch(config)# ip http server switch(config)# ip http secure-server switch(config)# ip http authentication local
