If it possible using Cisco IOS command to monitor optical signal receive power level ?
Model Cisco 3560G
SFP Cisco-Finisar 1000Base-LX

Not that I know of. Have never seen anything like that.

Only option to see the power receiving through fiber cable, or going into SFP is using Power Meter.
Best Tool used in field.

You are right. Power Meter in such case is better than Cisco CLI :-)

Hello!
What you need there is an additional device called OTDR (Optical Time Domain Relectometer)
which can measure your optical signal over the line. Usually Service Providers have such a device!
