Having realised the limitations with the 2248's I now have a pair of 5548's and looking for some guidance on configuring them.
What is the best way to connect them together as a pair?
I then need to setup a VPC to a pair of 6509's running VSS
In at the deep end here so learning as I go.
Thanks
Roger

Roger, we are also about to configure 5548s as the core of our datacenter ans 2K s as the top of the rack switches but we are going to connect the 5548s back to 6509 (Enterprise core) with layer-3 links.
I didn't see any limitations in configuring vPC between 5548s or in connecting them back to 6509s but my scenario is little different than yours.
Can you let me know what kind of limitations you came across with 2248s.

The limitations were that they could not be used as standalone switches!
They were bought and then I was asked to configure them, but did not realise they needed a 5000 or 7000 to drive them.
I know a lot more now.

I am good with the cisco doc now, I will be creating a VPC to a pair of 6509's running VSS
Is the configuration the same?
Thanks
Roger
