How to "show" ME 3800 transceiver eeprom data?

z-core#show interfaces status

Port           Name             Status       Vlan         Duplex  Speed Type

Te0/1        R-CORE             connected    trunk        full    10G

Te0/2        M-CORE             notconnect   1            full    10G

As you can see Type feild is emty, so I'm unable to find out transeiver's type e.g. 10GBASE-LR, 10GBASE-ER and etc. How to look into it's eeprom data?

Darn.  I thought this command is supported.

How about "sh interface trans prop"?

z-core#sh interface TenGigabitEthernet 0/1 transceiver properties

Name : Te0/1

Administrative Speed: 10000

Administrative Duplex: full

Administrative Auto-MDIX: on

Administrative Power Inline: N/A

Operational Speed: 10000

Operational Duplex: full

Operational Auto-MDIX: on

Media Type:

z-core#sh interface TenGigabitEthernet 0/2 transceiver ?

  detail      Show interface transceiver detail

  properties  Show interface transceiver properties

  |           Output modifiers

The output shows something but not what we expected. Neither "detail" did (just DOM statistics)

sh inventory

z-core#show inventory | begin "TenGigabitEthernet0/1"

NAME: "TenGigabitEthernet0/1", DESCR: ""

PID: SFP-10G-LR          , VID: V02 , SN: ECL150902DA

NAME: "TenGigabitEthernet0/2", DESCR: ""

PID: SFP-10G-LR          , VID: V01 , SN: T12110975

LOL!

I should've used that first.  I thought you wanted MORE information than that.

Thanks for the ratings.

You are welcome. In this particular case all  I need to know is the transceiver's type which is preprogrammed into its eeprom. Probably ME3800 retrieves only basic info for 'sh inventory' and does not support to view all data.
