How to "Traffic Shape" on a Cisco 2921 with IOS version 15.3?

Hi,

     I'm trying to configured my Cisco 2921 external interface for "traffic-shape". I searched the web for Traffic Shaping and I can only find examples that support IOS version 12. Typing "traffic-shape rate" on my router is not supported due to its running IOS.

     Can you point me to an example or write up? My external link speed is a T3.

Thanks!

Ed

If you mean the interface command traffic-shape, the can (I suspect) shaping can be done via a CBWFQ policy.

e.g.

policy-map sample

class class-default

traffic-shape average x

interface x

service-policy output sample
