Can you post the  show interface x/x output need to see exactly what type of errors they are there are different solutions for different combinations of errors

Solarwinds which is reporting the interfaces errors also showing vlan getting interface errors , can vlan virtual interfaces get errors???

GigabitEthernet x/XX is up, line protocol is up (connected)

Your on a GIG interface but its negotiating to half-duplex  10mb ?

whats connected to it , can you set the port to duplex full and clear counters interface gig x/x?

Interesting that the data rate shown is 10 Half - what do you have connected on this port; and what's the configuration of the port and the remote device?

It also looks like you have lots of input errors, but NO valid input packets.  Is it possible you have "unusual" cabling attached to this port that's looping packets?  This would be bad in any case, but when the port is set up to half duplex, it can't receive while sending.

for example this port connected to a finger print device , ill post both the port config and interface info:-

switchport

switchport access vlan X

switchport mode access

The reliability is down on that connection reliability 253/255

have you tested the cabling to these devices

test cable-diagnostics tdr interface gx/x

or tried swapping in a new one to see if the errors stop

can you post the show controller for that interface

how do i show the controller for that interface?

It looks like the device isn't working, as there is no input packets on it at all...

Can you try connecting it with just a patch cord to the front of the switch rather than possibly going through building cabling?  Also, to verify the port is working, try connecting a normal PC.

Between the two printouts, it looks like the port has gone 10-half to 100-full ?

Hi @Mark Malone ,

Please I have the same issue with my TenGigabitEthernet Xenpak. Would you help me identify the problem ? Or is there any command to test the Xenpak Module ?

Here is the output:
