How to update a vlan spanning-tree priority ?

   Can you give me the basic instructions for updating a VLAN's spanning-tree priority. I've never done it before

If its just standard stp you do it in running config example below

Changing STP priority may cause a recalculation at layer 2 which could temporarily effect users

(conft) spanning-tree vlan 1-331,2991-2994 priority 4096

Take in consideration that the lowest priority will be preferred as root. I recommend change it during a maintenance window.
