I need your help in the process of upgrading IOS image in this particular switch to c3550-ipservicesk9-mz.122-44.SE6.bin. Thank you for your help.

You can upgrade to 12.2 version IOS as long as you have a valid Cisco Service Contract.

I had bad experiences in the passed when upgraded image that located on top of that image dir before. That is why I need to make sure I run the proper step. Let me go through with the link you gave me and I hope you mind I'am asking if I might stumble into some problem.

Before I forget ... Before pushing the IOS to the switch, make sure you check (and compare) the hash to ensure the IOS file you downloaded is either complete and/or not corrupted.
