I have a question,  How to activate C9400-SUP-UPG-LIC=   LIC?

do not see this SKU mentioned anywhere in the 9400 ordering guide ?

• Cisco StackWise Virtual is supported on Cisco Catalyst 9400 Series Supervisor 1 Module (C9400-SUP-1) and Cisco Catalyst 9400 Series Supervisor 1XL Module (C9400-SUP-1XL). The feature requires a special, additional, C9400-SUP-UPG-LIC= license with Cisco Catalyst 9400 Series Supervisor 1 Module (C9400-SUP-1).

maybe it was pre-installed on the SUP and no action is needed?

Have a look at table-11 in this link for the type of license packages you can install on the 9400. If you want to know what license you currently have, try "sh license right-to-use" or "sh ver"
