hi guys,
when i use layer3 switch 3750 for intervlan routing but i dont use any of the encapsulation command then which encapsulation method it uses.
and if does not use dot1q encapsulation then how can i enable dot1q encapsulation in my network.
please help me in this topic

Use router on stick or have one interface of router going to switch for each vlan

but i m using internal router and i just want to do only intervlan routing and it can be performed by using layer 3 switch.
and i want to know that by default which encapsulation method is used ,
and which command is used to verify the encapsulation used.

dot1q is used when a switch interface is configured as a trunk. You have not told us that any switch port is configured as a trunk, and in what you have told us I do not see any requirement for trunking. You can certainly do inter vlan routing on the layer 3 switch without doing trunking.
