Hi, we have M1 and F2 cards on 2 x N7ks chassis. The F2 are doing fabricpath VPC+ between them and the M1s are dual connected externally to the F2s. We wanted to do doing static routes between them, so have configured a demarcation vlan that is common to both. The F2s have a default-route to the upstream M1-hsrp-vip and the M1s have a static route for the server vlans (reverse route) to the F2-hsrp-vip.
To our surprise we cannot ping the M1-hsrp-vip and both the M1 physical ips from the F2s and vice-versa. (diagram attached).
Please advise?

Hi Partha, vlan 102 is already in "mode fabricpath" mode. Sorry, I can`t send the required outputs as I don`t have access to the devices at the moment. Is there any other recommendation?

Hi,
I believe the demarcation vlan102 mode should be classical ethernet not fabric path mode
n7k(config-vlan)# mode ?
ce Classical Ethernet VLAN mode
fabricpath FabricPath VLAN mode
select ce
Hope this will help

Partha
