Hello all!

Cor01

Cor02

Nov 21 14:10:23 GMT: HSRP: Vl103 Grp 1 ARP src 169.167.38.180 tgt 169.167.38.129, reply with mac 0000.0c07.ac01

The communication between cor01 and cor02 is done through access switch that is as mode access in the vlan 103, please could you help me understand why it present this log?

Hi,

it means Cor02 is the active router for the standby group 1 so Core1 can't reply to arp requests destined for the VIP which is 169.167.38.129. That's how i understand it anyway.

Regards.

Alain
