Hi,
Media Type: unknown
You may have an incompatible optic installed on the Cisco switch. Is this a Cisco optic? Was it purchased from a trusted Cisco partner/reseller?
Can you post the part number of the optic?

Thanks for the answer. It is a huawei optic.
I suppose that the product id is on the photo i attached in my thread. I googled it and it is the following:

I doubt that a Huawei optic will work on a Cisco switch. I recommend getting one from a Cisco reseller.

Thanks, i have a very large number of these optics as my backbone is 100 Gbps huawei based switches with 100/40/4x25/4x10 ports and i wondered if i could use these optics on my access 9407Rs also.
I will ask my reseller for cisco compatible ones.

Why would you use Chinese government parts on your network? Security not an issue where you work?
