What IOS version are you using?

I'm on 15.2(1)E1 .. already tried all other 15.x code releases but am running into bugs preventing proper ISE install. ISE functions perform very well in 15.2(1)E1 ... but this process is beating up the switch until it crashes. This is amazingly frustrating considering the amount of time I've put into finding good code for ISE, and when I find it there's another bug that prevents use.
I tried to fall back to 12.2(58)SE2 and ran into a bug affecting voice in a bad way.. ISE dACL function was also jacked in that code under certain conditions.
I like ISE, think it's a great technology but I cannot seem to complete a wired implementation with 2960S switches... I need to find some decent code!

This issue apparently still exists 5 years later. Am I to assume there's no fix?
THanks!

Hello,
it is assumed normal behavior:
3560X/3750X: Elevated CPU usage due to Hulc LED process
CSCtn42790
Description
Symptom:
Hulc LED Process uses 15-30% CPU on Catalyst 3560X/3750X platforms.
Conditions:
The is seen in 12.2(53)SE releases or later.
Workaround:
This is an expected behavior and there is no workaround.
Further Problem Description:
The "Hulc LED" process does following tasks:
- Check Link status on every port
- If the switch supports POE, it checks to see if there is a Power Device (PD)
detected
- Check the status of the transceiver
- Update Fan status
- Set Main LED and ports LEDs
- Update both Power Supplies and RPS
- Check on system temperature status

The solution is to admin down unused ports. -rpd
