http://www.tftp-server.com/ You can use this for MS platform. One time I have no responsibility lo load image by TFTP, I loaded image 30 minutes, by tftp it takes near 5 minutes.

When you choose speed of Xterm, for exmaole 9600, its 9600bits per second. So you can calculate time you need to load image

actually i meant legacy switches below catalyst 2950 series, i read in some pages which suggested we have to add new interfaces to support 802.1x features in legacy switches/routers so... well thanks for the info n the link.

Catalyst 2960 supports mentioned features.

You can run "Cisco Feature Navigator" to check which image you need for it.
