i have two error console loggs i want explanationfor them

hi , i have error console msg on my router 7600 which is MLS

Jan  2 15:19:33.624: %ADJ-3-RESOLVE_REQ: Adj resolve request: Failed to resolve x.x.65.250 GigabitEthernet1/2

what does this mean ???????/

i have another error message which appeared yesterday when i did some modifications in my topology and my cpu was 100 %

Dec 31 17:55:15.008: %IPRT-3-RIB_LOOP: Resolution loop formed by routes in RIB

plz adviceabout the two error messages above

Regarding the first message, what IOS version are you running?

Regarding the second message, it seems you have recursive routing - can you provide your running configuration?

about the 2nd message , it occured when i performed alot of changes in my topology , but now its not appearing , i mean it appeared when the topoloy has changed .

but can it give an indication for a specific thing ??? note that my cpu reached 100 % of 7600 MLS , and i couldnt continue , so i returned my topology as before .

can i know wts wrong ???

That error has been seen on 15.x code train - no workaround at this moment:

Please note, while the bug details list ASR1K and Port-Channel as part of the issue, it has also been seen on 7600 and regular interfaces.

Try upgrading to 15.2(4)S2

All of your symptoms match the bug.

The 2nd error could be due to recursive routing in place. Since you were making a lot of topology changes, a route pointing to a recursive route may have not been present. Due to a timing issue, the error came up. I will disregard if you don't see it again.

so u think that upgrading the ios may solve the issue ??

what ios do u suggest to upgrade to the 7600 MLS ?

As I stated, try upgrading to 15.2(4)S2
