I have a 24 port IE 4010 majority of the ports have an autoqos policy applied. The uplink to internet which 100Mbs doesn't as is dropping traffic extensively. The documentation states it has 4 egress queues. The output of the show platform qos statistics int g1/2 shows that the traffic is enqueued in Queue 2 threshold 3.
output queues enqueued:
queue: threshold1 threshold2 threshold3
-----------------------------------------------
queue 0: 0 0 0
queue 1: 0 0 6322
queue 2: 0 0 41871791
queue 3: 0 0 0
I found one document related to Catalyst microswitches with a table showing the default Egress queue configuration. Logically to me I need to adjust the buffer allocation on the other queues to allocate more buffer to Queue 2. The big if is does this apply to Industrial switches? I can't find anyway to adjust the buffers. The switch is running 15.2(8)E4
Is this possible?
