I have an IE4000 that all of a sudden has the timestamp before the prompt. Really don't need that there. How do I remove?
[18373.13h.50m.31s.062] Prompt>
Just never seen this..

Sorry I have not replied to this sooner...
I have found this issue and it was not a Cisco issue but a terminal issue. I use GTKTERM from Ubuntu and there is a timestamp button on it.
Thank you for the response though.

Would you post the output of this command
show run | include prompt

Ran the "show run | include prompt" and gives nothing in return.

Thank you for checking that. If this started recently were there any changes to the switch, code upgrades, or config changes, or anything like that? Perhaps you could post the running config (masking passwords and other sensitive information)?

Thanks for the update letting us know that you have solved your own problem. And for letting us know that it was a terminal issue rather than a Cisco issue. I am always glad to see discussions where someone raises an issue and then finds the solution to their own problem. Congratulations and a well deserved +5 for this.
