%IGMP_QUERIER-4-SAME_SRC_IP_ADDR

I am repeatedly getting this message referencing and L2 Trunk Port see below;

 %IGMP_QUERIER-4-SAME_SRC_IP_ADDR:An IGMP General Query packet with the same source IP address (172.16.94.1) is received in VLAN 94 on port Gi4/18.

any ideas as to whats going on here.

what is connected to Gi4/18?

is there any MAC moves happening in the switches? you can enable "mac address-table notification mac-move".

Also, which switch is supposed to be the IGMP querier for the vlan-94? 

can you check the show ip igmp snooping querier vlan 94 output.

It is connected to another 4506 as L2 Trunk. Please see the output below;

sh ip igmp snooping querier vlan 94
IP address               : 172.16.94.1
IGMP version             : v3
Port                     : Router
Max response time        : 10s
Query interval           : 60s
Robustness variable      : 2

This is it's own IP address on that VLAN.

did you enable mac move notification as said above? if so, are you seeing any logs in the switch?

also, collect below outputs from both the swtiches please;

show span vl 94

show ip igmp snooping qu vl 94

sh span det | in last|exec|from--> multiple times

and when did you start seeing this issue? were there any configuraation changes/addition of links/IGMP snooping related?
