Rojer,

Usualy this will resolve with the switch reboot. If in case you have already done that and seeing it go ahead with RMA.

Hope this solves your query.

To Add on:

ILPOWER-3-CONTROLLER_ERR: Controller error, Controller number [dec]:
[chars].
This is an error reported or caused by the PoE controller is detected. [dec]
is the controller instance, which is 0 to 5 on a 24-port PoE switch and 0 to
11 on a 48-port PoE switch. [chars] describes the error.

Try reloading the switch. Before you reload the switch, get the output of
show log and show tech then send it to me so I can verify my findings. If
these error messages still come out after the reload, send the show log and
show tech to me again after the reload.

Also if you are running quite old IOS its a time to upgrade the same.

Hi Rojer,

Go ahead and schedule the window to reboot the switch to get this problem resolved.

If in case i.le rare case that after rebooting the device errors persit or gets then its an indication of hardware you need to create the RMA for the same.

Hi Inayath,

Reload switch is just workaround due to it was working for couple hours and error was re-happening again.

I will proceed RMA. Thanks for sharing.

It helped me with the restart of the Switch, but when giving the Reload command it didn't come back, it was necessary to turn off the plug and turn it on again, working again without problems, thankful for the explanations. below Switch Uptime

uptime is 1 year, 35 weeks, 3 days, 9 hours, 33 minutes
