Hi,
I have a switch WS-C4507R + E, added two SFP SFP-10GBase-SR, and they stayed with inactive status, would like some help to activate these interfaces in 10Gb.
Tks

(SOLVED)
I found the problem that occurred was using ports 3 and 4 as Cisco documentation in supervisory operating in redundant mode, ports 3 and 4 are inactivated. After changing to ports 1 and 2 were functioning without the need for custom configuration for 10Gb bandwith.
See 7-10
Limitation and Restriction on Supervisor Engine 7-E and Supervisor Engine 7L-E
Please note the following:
• When you use WS-X45-SUP-7-E in RPR or SSO mode, only the first two uplinks on each supervisor
engine are available. The second two uplinks are unavailable.
Selecting the Uplink Port on a Supervisor Engine 7L-E
Supervisor Engine 7L-E (WS-X45-SUP-7L-E) has two uplink modes: One-Gigabit and Ten-Gigabit.
The number of uplink ports now depends on the supervisor engine mode (single or redundandant) and
the uplink mode configuration (1-Gigabit or 10-Gigabit). To configure the uplink mode, use the
hw-module uplink select [gigabitethernet/ tengigabitethernet] command, as follows:
Switch(config)# hw-module uplink select ?
gigabitethernet Select the gigabit uplinks
tengigabitethernet Select the 10G uplinks
Note Supervisor Engine 7L-E is not supported on a ten-slot chassis. USB device and SD card support is
applicable to both Supervisor Engine 7-E and Supervisor Engine 7L-E.
In general, observe the following:
• In Redundant Supervisor Mode, ports 3 and 4 on both supervisor engines are not usable.
• The total bandwidth of the connections on a Supervisor Engine 7-E is less than 48Gbps.
Tks for all!
