Hi all,
I'm kinda to my wits end about this one, as I do know that NTP can be setup when you use express setup when the switch is new out of the box.
However I can't find any source or material to change any of the configuration, like NTP, when the device has been in the network for years and a change needs to happen.
As you all know, this thing has basically no CLI.
Does anyone know if I can just press express setup and configure NTP from thereon out, or does that throw the device like it's fresh out of the box?
For context, the device is managed remotely.
Thanks in advance and I hope one can provide an answer...
With kind regards,
kaghy

Hey,
The full model is: IE-1000-8P2S-LM
And I get what Balaji is saying, but that is before using it in production.
This switch (and multiple at that) is already in production for a long time.

There is are few command using CLI, but you can configure using GUI as per doc :

Hello Balaji,
I get what you're saying but that does not describe my particular situation.
I know Express setup is supposed to be used when you first initialize the device, what about it being in production and one wants to adjust say hostname, dns or NTP?

First let me say that I do not have experience with this type of switch, so can not speak from experience. I would suggest that you NOT try to use express setup. My understanding is that it is for initial setup and I suspect that if you use that tool it will entirely replace the existing config with whatever you specify in express setup. I would hope that the link provided by BB would identify ways to make incremental changes in the config.
