I like to know if I have to run command before or after removing module and command running before/after installing module.
excepting saving configuration of the device in case of failure... and running sh tech command output to having information of the state of the switch before module change activity.
I find equivalent document to which I'm looking for but this document is written for switch running IOS :
Someone having equivalent for CatOs switches ?
Thanks

Hi,
Just follow the same document you provided in the link. Make sure to save, backup the config and the card is comparable with your sup and slot. Also make sure you have an outage window when you do this incase some thing goes wrong.
Good Luck

Hi,
You can use the same document which you pointed out in your query. The same document explains for both IOS and Catos boxes. Just follow the document checklist and steps:
Verify if the module is supported by the supervisor engine of the destination switch.
Verify if the module is supported by the release of OS (IOS or CatOS) that runs on the destination switch.
Verify if the module can be placed in the choosen slot on the destination switch.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
Sweta
