Installing Redundant SUP 32

Hi, I already had SUP 32 installed in Cisco 6509. Now i am trying to install a redundant SUP 32 in slot 6. the sup 32 is not getting recognised. show module shows slot six as " SUPVISOR - Other ". why is this happening? please help me.

Did you config the redunancy mode<>? try console into the backup sup and see if it's in romon mode & check out the config register,make sure it's not 0X0.make sure the sup is seated firmly in the box,relo.

I have captured console output from redundant SUP 32 (see attachment). Also i tried configuring SSO & RPR +, but didn't work. Is it bcos the redundant SUP 32 has different IOS than the Active SUP 32. If this is the reason how can i copy the IOS to redundant SUP 32.
