Hello, I bought nexus 3064-T switch for studying of copper-based 10G ethernet deployment recently.
There are five VLANs in a switch - VLAN 1(default), VLAN 10, VLAN 20, VLAN 30 and VLAN 40
and assigned every ports to VLAN 10 ~ 40,
There's no physical router so I configured "IGMP snooping querier & IGMP snooping" for each VLAN
and so IGMP snooping works well in each VLAN (multicast traffic well pruned except for interested ports)
Inter-VLAN unicast routing is also OK!
But inter-VLAN multicast routing is not working at all.
in global configuration,
"feature pim" is already added
and in each interface (VLAN 10~40)
"ip pim sparse-mode" is also added.
Should I do additional config?
For example RP(Rendezvous Point) should be added for each VLAN? Where is the RP in this case?
What am I suppose to do for inter-VLAN multicast routing?
