Hello Dears,
The feature "Inter-VLAN Routing" is implemented only at Catalyst 2960-XR family? Or it is possible to route traffic between differents VLANs at Catalyst 2960-X family?
Thank you!

Hi!
Yes, IP Routing is supported in the Catalyst 2960-X family. Please refer to this link which explains detailed IP routing configuration in the 2960-X switch:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst2960x/software/15-0_2_EX/routing/configuration_guide/b_rt_152ex_2960-x_cg/b_rt_152ex_2960-x_cg_chapter_010.html
Hope it helps, best regards!

Thank you Carlos for your help!
The Catalyst 2960-X switch family supports IP Routing with Inter-VLAN Routing, Static Routes and HSRP.
But is it a Layer 2 switch?
Or because it implements this Layer 3 features it can be considered a Layer 3 switch?

The 2960 series switches are mainly layer-2 switches with some basic layer-3 functionality.
If you are looking to do layer-2 and full layer-3 routing, you may want to look at the 3850 series.

Hi!
According to the documentation provided:
The switch supports static routes and default routes, It does not support routing protocols.
Well it can route, it has some L3 capabilities. Based in the specific definition of what a Multilayer switch is (Provides upper layer functionalities L3/L4), then yes, this is a Layer 3 switch.
Best regards!
