Hello Everyone,
I had an Interface issue on Cisco Nexus Switch, we can connect to the network using the speed interface of 100 Mbps, and the setting of the speed interface Switch is Auto.
But, when we used a speed of 1 Gbps on that port. The devices can't reach the network using that speed. Even, we set the Interface speed to Auto in the interface Switch and the Laptop.
The question is why if the speed is 100 Mbps it can connect to the network, but if the speed is 1 Gbps can't reach the network.
Would you give me suggestions for this issue? Or maybe it is a hardware problem?
Thanks!

I'm using Straight Cable CAT 6 for testing, that support 1 Gbps.

This looks for me more of end device negotiation, what end device ? what Ethernet interface, try upgrade drivers, if they are 1GB speed ?
